Grade 2, Highlights 2
#1 I was really good at Math. By the second month of school I had moved on to the 3rd grade math books.
#2 Mid year we moved to Liberia W. Africa.
An oddly dull entry. Maybe if you comment on your second grade experience we can save this blog. Good luck!

Oddly, one of the few things I remember from 2nd grade was our class making a christmas tree from bottle caps. We wrapped them in tin foil, punched a hole through them and strong them on strings that went to a wood circular base… sounds wierd but it looked really cool and secondgraders made it(with help). Oh yeah, we also had a lot of tattle tails in our class so our teacher made beaver tails out of tag board and if you tattled you would have to wear a tail pinned to your backside. Sign of the times…that would never happen in a school today.

I had a teacher who changed her last name because she got married. This was confusing for me.
There was another Justin in the class, so I had to sign things using my second initial. This was annoying for me.
One time I drew a picture, but ran out of blue, because I had so much sky to cover. This was frustrating for me.
I learned how to draw Garfield. This was awesome.
