snow blower on the road
not that i took my snow blower out on the road, but yes I do have a snow blower now and we are considering touring together given our mutual affection for one another. I tried calling the township and cancelling the plows ’cause with this hot piece of fossil fuel burning steel I could easily and joyfully clear eldorado beach road. easily. and with great joy.
Our pastor and I went over to pick it up in his pick ’em up truck from a dear member of the congregation that no longer needs it. I was hesitant as I often am when faced with operating machinery that could potentially kill me, but boistered by my recent snow mobiling experience I hopped behind it, pretended to know what the choke was and why I would adjust it, and started blowing, steering, augering, pointing the stream of blown snow back where I had blown, into the mailbox, and only once into Pastor Jim point blank.
And now it’s home and I’m never giving it away. I may even try and rent a snow maker from a ski place just to give myself more opportunities to celebrate life and the dinosaurs who died to support my bliss. We love you T-Rex!
It’s starting to snow and Lydia and I are heading to the cities. When we get back it better be deep!
